Where disaster strikes, InStar Services Group rebuilds. The specialty contractor offers 24/7 emergency disaster recovery services and property reconstruction in cases of catastrophe, from hurricanes and floods to fires and waterline breaks. Services include structural renovation, dehumidification, mold remediation, electronics and machinery restoration, HVAC decontamination, and pre-disaster planning for both commercial and multi-family residential properties. It has a nationwide network of about 18 regional offices mainly along the East Coast and in the South. The ServiceMaster Company bought InStar in 2006 and sold it in 2008 to BlackEagle Partners, a private equity firm.
